- Grants are also only available for cities & towns that have previously received funding or technical assistance from the WBC for the preservation of a former school facility as a community center prior to March 22, 2024.
- The facility(ies) are included on the national park service’s national register of historic places or as a national historic landmark.
- The facility(ies) are located in a city or town with a population of less than fifteen hundred (1,500).
